Virginia and Gun Control

It has started already, the debate on gun control. Socialists: "see, pass anti-gun laws." Conservatives: "Trained gun owners with concealed weapon permits would have markedly reduced the bodycount." I am clearly on the side of conservatives here. Gun control only takes guns away from the law abiding rendering them helpless against the murderers. Gun control stimulates a black market for guns and increases organized crime. The right to bear arms was included in the constitution for very important reasons. Who will guard the guards? Just as Al Gore emits carbon like a smoke stack, the gun controllers would surely be the only ones allowed to own a gun, one way or the other.
