WWII and Today

Almost everything in today's world, the world which financially and militarily secure American's take for granted, is in some way a direct aftermath of World War II. Most American's have little knowlege of WWII's over arching impact on our lives. Even Islamic Fascism has its roots in WWII. While the particular problems we face today have developed since the war, the history of WWII has very relavent lessons to teach us about our world, if we are willing to listen.

Dr. Sanity, today, links to a wonderful article about World War II politics. It is well worth the read. The Left seems to think that it has reached an enlighted nirvanna which renders the past irrelevant; that from the comforts of Conneticut and California they will virtuously forge a new way, the likes of which the world has never known. I think this is nothing more than a dangerous self absorbtion. We must listen to the lessons of history or be doomed to repeat its horrors.

Please read this important article.
